About Me
As a child, I got attached to objects that stimulated me emotionally and cluttered my home. I create art that is therapeutic in nature and critiques the world of consumerism aimed at children and filled with stimuli and colors. I search within each visible element for details that reveal characters and archetypes in each artwork. I add playfulness to my work by using different materials and humanizing belongings.
As an outdoor photographer, I explore geometric textures within structures and often insert images within images to create reflections. I critique by using grotesque artistry on consumer culture. For instance, I suggest an alternative functional purpose for produce.
In painting, my main work is with acrylic colors. The style is dense, intuitive, abstract, and spontaneous, executed spontaneously.
